Bullying

I believe that is very important to not bully others, to not be actively nasty towards others, to not strive to cause them pain, or to scare them, or confuse them.

This is actually good for your well-being, and for the well-being of everyone since we all live in the same place.

Making people feel bad, especially when they're not asking for trouble, is just cruel. All you gained was reinforcing disgusting behavior in yourself and the disgusting hyenas that conspired with you, and hurting a person that will react in some way in the future. You ruined their day, and that will bubble up to their family and friends, problems, contributing to the erosion of good things and leading to bad outcomes that will make their life and the world worse.

Causing confusion on people through psychological manipulation, through suggestions, omitting details, or through lies, is going to ruin the day and the life of that person, and it will make the life of everyone around them worse at some point, likely including yours. Confusion is very cruel, it installs paranoia and it turns people into bad versions of themselves, causing the erosion of good things, violence, separation, recessions.

If you are a bully you still need to develop empathy somehow, you need the right exposure and life experience so you can stop making the world worse.

I believe there's almost never a good reason to make a person feel bad, or even to judge them negatively inside your own head, unless the person is something akin to a bully. Instead of quickly deciding that a person is cringe, or weird, I suggest thinking of them as cute — they exist and their journey is one of constant improvement.

That's what I believe, however I acknowledge this can be hard, especially when the person you're trying to respect did something wrong to you in the past. Also you're not in full control of your mind, before you know it you just uttered a sharp comment designed to hurt the listener.

Cultivating peace is important for this. Chemistry is vital for this. Your relationship with the world is dictated by how well adjusted your brain is, even if you think you have advanced psychological tools at your disposal.
