Resenting the Zeitgeist

I'm not sure, but I think I'm observing a pattern, or cycle, happen in real time, regarding generations, trends, technology, and bitter repercussions.

This is about AI and how a lot of people are allergic to the technology or people using the technology.

For instance I was just seeing a thread in some hip hop forum from a guy that made some custom software to work with beats. It looked pretty cool, kind of a unique and playful interface. However most of the comments were making fun of him for vibe coding — minimizing the achievement.

The fact that people are making custom tools to fulfill their needs, and sharing them with others, the fact that they can do this, is awesome. Why remain in the phase of rejecting the current technological breakthroughs?

While I don't know how the person is, I know that I would resent the downvotes and negative or ironic comments when all I'm doing is trying to share something and get some people to talk about it.

The person could be testing the waters of software development, venturing out to create something with the means available at the time, and he got shut down. This could have repercussions.

Maybe the person just overcomes this setback and continues to make better things. But maybe he just gives up and starts resenting the current era and the people in the world. Paranoia is going to be installed in the person, since he can't really know who or what let him down, so he'll start developing ideas of the kind of person that did, and eventually retaliate against others in the future based on this. I think this can erode nice things.

This is just a trend of what could be happening all around. I think it's important to reduce the friction against efforts that try to improve a person or the environment. There is still going to be tons of friction, no need to make the world nastier with bad attitudes and paranoia.
